Emission Statistics by UNECE Source Category
 
Under the Convention on Long Range Transboundary Air Pollution (CLRTAP), the UK has to submit emissions data annually to the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE). This set of data differs from that submitted under the National Emissions Ceilings Directive (NECD) due to information on different sectors being required and different geographic coverage. For example, the UNECE data includes emissions from domestic aviation - take off and landing and domestic aviation cruise emissions but excludes emissions arising from international shipping.
